Contact support

Email: code.captain.support@gmail.com

Please include your app version, iPhone model, iOS version, and a description of what occurred. Do not include PHI, patient identifiers, screenshots containing patient information, or confidential clinical records.

Before contacting support

  • Confirm that your iPhone is running the latest available version of Code Captain.
  • Close and reopen the app if a non-active screen is unresponsive.
  • Do not uninstall the app before exporting any records you need to keep; uninstalling may remove local data.
  • If a code session is active, preserve the session and follow institutional documentation procedures.

Where is my information stored?

Code-session records, settings, and recovery information are stored locally on the device. The app does not require an account or automatically upload clinical records to the developer.

How do I delete local information?

Use the Delete Local Data option in the app's settings when available. Uninstalling the app also removes app-container data, although previously exported files and device backups are outside the app's control.

How do exports work?

PDFs are created locally. Text, email, print, and sharing actions use features supplied by your iPhone and other installed apps. Once information leaves Code Captain, it is governed by the destination you select.

Clinical-use notice

Code Captain is a documentation and timing aid for trained clinical users. It does not replace clinical judgment, a code leader, institutional policy, medication verification, emergency response systems, or the official medical record.

This support address is not monitored as an emergency service and must not be used for urgent patient-care decisions.
